Directions NA 2023 Recap

Published by Fidesic on Apr 21, 2023 7:19:51 PM

Directions North America is a conference for Microsoft Partners by Microsoft Partners. In preparation of this major event in the Dynamics Community, Fidesic hosted a series of Live Streams on LinkedIn. Let's recap...

This year, our Head Project Manager Kevin Pritchard traveled down to Florida for Directions North America conference. Here are a few key takeaways that he brought back with him. Check out our YouTube Channel for More

1. Community

The Dynamics Community is incredibly close-knit and welcoming. Reflecting on my early career, I realize it was my own hesitance that kept me feeling on the outside rather than the community being an 'in-group.' It's amazing what happens when you actively participate and engage with others!

2. Business Central

Business Central is an exciting space right now, with rapid changes in the landscape of ISVs, Partners, and Appsource. With thousands of Appsource apps flooding the market, it's more important than ever to be part of the community. Partners are seeking reliable ISVs, and sifting through the available options can be overwhelming.

3. Vertical, Verticals, Verticals

Verticals, verticals, verticals! Microsoft is pushing for Business Central to be a one-stop solution for industry-specific customers. ISVs and partners play a crucial role in tailoring solutions to clients' unique needs. It's essential to be transparent about the customers we can best serve and to reflect that in our marketing and promotional materials.

Thanks to all of our partners and guests for helping Fidesic and Kevin make a successful trip out it... Amiee Keenan, Khaled Nassra, Carol Livingston and Linda Rose!
